So you moved to Japan and now you are an English teacher at a preschool or kindergarten. And you've never worked with small kids or taught in a school before this. They told you it was "just playing with kids in English". But it's a lot more complicated than that. How to get control of a group of 2 year olds wasn't included in your training. What the heck are fingerplays and why do you have to know this stuff? How do you teach a five year old to jump rope, or read, or spell? Why is craft time so frustrating? What's the best way to teach a child to write? I've been a preschool teacher in Japan for more than 20 years. I can give you the skills and knowledge you neeed to become a confident teacher of small children. Sessions are typically two to three hours and are targeted to your specific needs/questions. Sessions can be shared with up to three people with no additional charge (so bring a friends and split the cost). And I will throw in 3 months of accesss to my private facebook group full of resources for new teachers so that you can continue to gather new teaching and classroom management tools on your own.
