Jeana Schieffer has lived and worked in central Fukushima Prefecture of Japan for more than 30 years. Prior to living in Japan, Jeana worked in the field of international education, including foreign student advising and placement. While teaching in Japan, Jeana helped establish a sister city relationship between her home town in Wisconsin and Miharu-machi. For over 20 years, Jeana worked as the International Exchange Coordinator and led many successful exchanges to and from Japan. The sister city relationship between Miharu and Rice Lake, WI, won three international awards under her stewardship. Over the past 20 years, Jeana has helped establish three successful English immersion preschools in northern Japan, taught English and Spanish, and continues to be active in numerous community groups. Jeana is not only a skilled teacher, but she knows her way around computers, networks, and smartphones. She enjoys helping her friends use technology to improve their lives. Her hobbies are hanging out with friends, watching movies, and playing Pokemon Go.
ジーナ・シーファーは、日本の福島県中部で30年以上にわたり生活し、働いてきました。日本に住む前は、ジーナは国際教育の分野で働いており、留学生のアドバイスや配置などを行っていました。日本で教える傍ら、ジーナは故郷のウィスコンシン州と三春町との姉妹都市関係の確立に貢献しました。20年以上にわたり、ジーナは国際交流コーディネーターとして活動し、日本との間で多くの成功した交流をリードしてきました。三春町とウィスコンシン州のライスレイクとの姉妹都市関係は、彼女の指導のもとで3つの国際的な賞を受賞しました。過去20年間にわたり、ジーナは日本北部に3つの成功した英語浸 immersion プリスクールを設立し、英語とスペイン語を教え、多数のコミュニティグループで活動を続けています。ジーナは優れた教師であるだけでなく、コンピュータ、ネットワーク、スマートフォンにも精通しています。彼女は友人たちがテクノロジーを活用して生活を向上させるのを手助けすることを楽しんでいます。趣味は友達と過ごすこと、映画を観ること、そしてポケモンGOをすることです。
